Ons Geschiedenis

Op 27 april 1985 vergaderden in herberg “De Zwarte Kat” van het Museum voor Volkskunde te Brugge tien molenliefhebbers uit verschillende streken van de provincie West-Vlaanderen en één uit Sluis. Onder hen waren er twee van onze laatse beroepsmolenaars en enkele vrijwillige molenaars. Zij bespraken er o.m. welke haalbare initiatieven er konden genomen worden om het toen snel aftakelende molenpatrimonium in West-Vlaanderen te redden.
